Thank you to The Times on 4th June 2011 who recommended the Old Forge as the place to visit after experiencing one of their featured countryside walks. I’ve enjoyed the walk many times , read on for details of the route, plus some of my photos. The article in the Times has prompted many visitors from in and around the county, enjoying both the walk and The Old Forge. (Rob Walker, proprietor 20th June)
